What we do
Research shows that reading contributes directly to mental well-being, nurturing empathy and supporting cognitive development. It also aids in developing analytical, communication, and creative skills. Yet despite its profound importance to society, literacy rates are declining worldwide, library budgets are shrinking, and language resources are often out of reach for many educators, parents, and children.
At FOUNDATIONS IN LITERACY, we are dedicated to addressing these challenges. Through initiatives, grants, and partnerships, we work to strengthen education in reading and language skills wherever we can, ensuring that individuals and communities have the resources they need to thrive in a language-driven world.
